What’s included in a wedding video, or what will we receive?

At the end of the editing process you will receive a pen drive with your final edit loaded on. Depending on what package you go for will determine your video files. For example, if you choose the gold option, you will have your speeches recorded in full loaded on to the pen drive. All options will have the majority of the ceremony loaded on and all the vows (the best bits).

What’s the process?

Firstly, you reach out and book my services. There is a booking form to fill out, and a $230 deposit. From there, you sit tight and I get in touch with you 1 month before your big day. This is our consultation meeting and it’s a good opportunity for me to explain the process, the music options, the timings, and any special details, events you’d like to see in the edit. A day or two before the wedding, I’ll email again just to confirm the timeline and we’re away! On the day of the wedding, I’m there but I’m not. My job is to seamlessly fit in to the background and capture your day in it’s entirety.

Can we choose our own music?

I have access to a large bank of music and sound tracks, trust me to accompany your work or event with something that creates a powerful infusion of sound to story. We can discuss this more in your consultation.

Do we need to be naturally comfortable in front of the camera?

It helps, but in short. No. You don’t need to be naturally comfortable in front of the camera. My job is to capture the intimate moments that happen throughout your day in the moment. Not forced, but natural. Refer to my comment above about me fitting in, in the background…. with a good zoom!

Do we get pre ceremony footage from the bride and groom?

Yes you do, depending on how far away you are from each other. The normal process is I start with the groom, get some shots of him doing an activity (golf, playing pool, music), then I head to the bride’s location where she is getting her makeup done, finishing touches, playful moments with the bridesmaids. Basically whatever you’re both doing before the ceremony, I can use and create a sequence from.

How long do the videos take to create?

The full package is delivered in 5-6 weeks (or less depending on demand at the time). If it was to take more than a 5 weeks, I would let you know, but this is rare.

What do you (Craig) require for the day?

No need to worry about me, I got this! I even provide my own packed lunch/tea! You just worry about enjoying your day and I’ll piece it all together! But if I do need anything, you can expect a smile and some exceptional manners!
